Before the Result

Horse racing is presented as sport, tradition, and entertainment.
What happens around it is a ritual of waiting.

People gather hours before the race.
They study programs, calculate odds, place bets.
Belief replaces control.

This project looks at the moment suspended before the outcome.
At the gestures, the pauses, and the collective anticipation that surrounds the event.

The horses appear only when necessary, as part of a system already set in motion.

Attention moves between spectators, bookmakers, and riders, revealing a quiet economy of hope and risk.
Money circulates. Time slows. Consequences are delayed.

                 Nothing here is decided yet.
Everything is invested in what has not happened.
